FAQ's
1. Can I cancel my order?
Unless it includes a pre-order, the answer is generally no so please order carefully. Once the order is placed our dispatch team move very quickly, so there is no guarantee we can cancel your order.
2. How quickly will my enquiry be answered?
Our customer service department is open 10-5 (GMT), Monday to Friday. We will endeavour to answer all enquiries in the order that they come in. Please allow more time during bank holidays.
3. Why can't I pre-order an item that is listed in coming soon?
We don't like to keep too many pre-orders on the system in case we lose track of them and orders fall through the cracks. Additionally, release dates can change and we don't want to hold your money for too long if we're moving dates around.
4. Is the money taken straight away when I pre-order an item?
Payment is is taken straight away for all orders (including pre-orders).
5. What is your shipping policy?
Please note: Any orders containing pre-order items will be held until their release date(s).
All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.
6. Will I have to pay import fees?
We are IOSS registered, meaning orders sent within the EU under the value of 150 Euros will not be subject to import fees. Over this limit, you will be charged on import.
Please be aware of your own countries customs fees as we are not liable for any extra charges you may incur and we will not refund them.
7. How do I cancel a part of my order?
We are unable to remove/add items to orders once processed. Please see the note above re: cancelling orders.
8. What if my order has not arrived?
Contact us at orders@88films.co.uk and we will look into the issue. Please allow 7 working days for UK and 25 working days for International before considering the parcel lost and contacting us.
9. How do I return an unwanted product?
All returns must be unopened and postage costs are covered by the buyer. Please contact us at orders@88films.co.uk for further details.
10. My item has arrived damaged, can I get a replacement?
Due to the nature of paper products, receiving a 100% perfect item is incredibly difficult. We cannot replace every ding, fold, or tiny tear so please only contact us in the event of major damage. Although we understand the desire to receive a flawless product, particularly amongst serious collectors, we still need to consider the realities of handling and shipping items across the world. Any defects will need to be analysed and measured against our regulations before a replacement is considered. We require clear pictures of the damage and video evidence of any playback issues. 11. Can I request a title for you to release?
Our answer can never be anymore than, "thanks for the suggestion. we will look into the possibility of doing this at our next acquisitions event." So by all means please do contact us but don't expect a different response. We generally work a long way ahead and have a slate stretching several months into the future. And, unfortunately, not every film is available to license!
12. Can I change my login details?
Yes, but you need to email orders@88films.co.uk with your old and new email address for us to change it manually.
13. Why Coffee pics?
We like coffee, we like taking pictures of our releases :)
UPDATE TO REWARDS SCHEME
Unfortunately our rewards scheme has come to an end. From the 1st April, you will not be able to earn points from placing orders, but will still be able to redeem any acquired points until 1st June.
